Sacred Loon is finally creating a Medicine Wheel Garden, in the Sacred Loon Healing Gardens, and would like to share the experience of this sacred circle with you. There are many versions of a Medicine Wheel, and used by many cultures and tribes. It does not belong to one culture, but belongs to us all.
The Sacred Loon Healing Gardens will be creating a Celtic Medicine Wheel Garden. Which is a wheel like shape made from rocks, dividing the four directions (North, South, East, West) representing Mother Earth’s four seasons, reminding us of the four stages of life and help guide our healing journey, heal relationships (generational), and promote positive change.
This will be a ceremony of new beginnings with beautiful souls.
Heidi Evelyn, who has Native American and Celtic healer ancestors, will be teaming up with Amanda La France, of Sacred Somacare. Amanda is certified in Morning Alters, forager in the tradition of the Honorable Harvest, and ritual and ceremony creator. She is passionate in co-creating inclusive, supportive sacred spaces for transformation of the healing nervous system, self discovery and cultivating interconnectedness. She thrives on building communities and providing a loving space in her heart for all. Amanda can be found @shantiyogacentermn and @SacredSomacare.
What to expect from this Sacred Circle: learning about the history of the Medicine Wheel in both northern and southern hemispheres, the significance in the gardens, and how it can help you in your healing journey. A Medicine Wheel Ceremony will take place and each participant will also have a part in the creation of the medicine wheel garden. (I don’t want to give it all away) Ceremonial Cacao will be prepared with Heidi Evelyn’s original recipe and served to guests at this event with our ceremony. Guests will also be able to take home a part of the wheels intentions and creation to add in their garden or sacred place in their home. “Grounding Journey” Tea will be available for purchase at this event, even if cacao is being served.
This is the first of many Sacred Circle of the Medicine Wheel events - As there are seasons of the Wheel, we would like to share them with you, as it will be a sacred place for you to return to.
(*Address to the event will be sent in email the week of the event, as the SLHG are on private property.)
